7:30 9:30 10:30 13:00 14:30 15:30 16:30 18:00 20:30	ライブセッション1：宇宙技術を通して気候変動と環境問題に対する取り組み Theme: Aiming for sustainable social growth in Asia Pacific Region Session Concept: According to the 6th assessment report of IPCC there is no doubt that human activity is the main cause of global warming since the second half of the 20th century. Climate change and its large-scale disasters are affecting the Asia Pacific Region environment, agriculture, forests and the impacts are accentuated by human activities. Space Technology is able to contribute to MRV (measurement, reporting and validation) on the changes that occurred since the last decades, The observations can be used to improve our understanding of the effects of climate change, in order to define measures of adaptation and mitigation including reduction of GHG emissions. Space agency and authorities in each country need to enhance human resources, targeted on the young generation expected to play a leading role in each country in the future. This is also aiming to promote APRSAF Nagoya Vision which are solutions for social issues as well as diverse linkage.
