Two separate but complementary activities will be offered by Kyushu Institute of Technology (Kyutech) and UNISEC. Each can be attended independently, while together they cover the space value chain—from satellite development to data utilization and service creation.

1. Capacity Building Program for Satellite Development and Testing (Oct 25)

This program combines introductory lectures on the satellite development lifecycle with HEPTA-SAT Hands-on Training. Participants learn the fundamentals of CubeSat systems engineering through the assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of major satellite subsystems.

2. Space Innovation Challenge – From Data Utilization to Future Space Services (Oct 26)

This competition aims to bridge a gap between the information needed by end users and the space data and services currently available. Finalists will present proposals that use satellite data to address societal challenges and identify future observation needs for new space services. Feedback from experts and company awards will encourage regional networking and future collaboration beyond the competition.
