Overview

The 31st Asia-Pacific Regional Space Agency Forum (APRSAF-31) was held from 18–21 November 2025 in Cebu, Philippines, under the theme “Empowering the Region through Space Ecosystems in Action.” The forum highlighted how space ecosystems can enhance disaster resilience, support climate action, and contribute to sustainable economic growth across the region.

The event brought together 596 participants from 40 countries and regions—including space agencies, government bodies, academic institutions, and private-sector organizations—further reinforcing APRSAF’s role as the largest space-related conference in the Asia-Pacific.

For the first time in the history of APRSAF, the President of the Philippines, Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., attended the forum. He delivered a message and visited the exhibition area, engaging directly with delegates.

As one of the major outcomes of APRSAF-31, the Joint Statement was adopted, reaffirming the region’s commitment to sustainable development, frontier exploration, human resource development, and strengthened regional cooperation.

The next APRSAF will be held in Bangkok, Thailand, on 27–30 October 2026.
