Welcome Reception

A reception will be organized on Wednesday evening, 12 December 2012, to be jointly hosted by
MOSTI, ANGKASA and MEXT to welcome the participants of the APRSAF-19. The exact time
and venue of the reception will be announced in due course.

Cultural Tour

Destination: Putrajaya
Date: Friday, 14 December 2012

15:00 - Departure from Berjaya Times Square Hotel to Putrajaya
16:00 - Presentation by Putrajaya guided tour officer and refreshments
17:00 - Guided tour around Putrajaya
19:00 - Back to Berjaya Times Square Hotel

The tour will include visits to the following places:
Perdana Putra, Parks of Putrajaya, Seri Perdana, Melawati Palace, Mosques of Putrajaya, Putra
Square, Bridges of Putrajaya, Putrajaya Lake, Putrajaya International Convention Centre
(PICC), Pride of Putrajaya

Overview:
This cultural tour will bring us to Putrajaya, a model township that has been constructed with
detailed planning, innovative urban design and great respect for the environment. It is a city with a
vision that also promises to keep the nation's heritage for the country's present and future
generations. Its beautifully landscaped roads and parks as well as modern buildings are clearly
reflected in the theme "City in a Garden"
