GIOVANI CONCEPCION is a member of the Philippine Bar and serves as the Chief Legal Officer of the Philippine Space Agency (PhilSA), where he heads the Space Policy and Legal Affairs Division. He leads the management of the National Registry of Space Objects of the Philippines and oversees PhilSA's legal and policy and other related work.

Prior to joining PhilSA, he held positions at the Tariff Commission, the Department of Agriculture, the Office of the President, and the Court of Appeals, where he built his experience in trade, public policy, legal affairs, program and project monitoring and government administration. He also maintained private law practice.

He holds a Master of International Trade and Commerce Law from Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia. He also holds a Master of Business Administration from De La Salle University, a Juris Doctor from Far Eastern University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of the Philippines. He is a member of the Maritime Law Association of the Philippines, a Fellow of the Maritime Policy Leaders Fellowship Program, and an alumnus of the Australia Awards Scholarship Program.
