Rebecca Levy is the NASA Asia Representative, based in Tokyo, Japan. She has been with NASA for 10 years, with prior roles at NASA Headquarters in the Space Technology Mission Directorate and in the Office of International and Interagency Relations. She began her NASA career at the Goddard Space Flight Center, working on the Joint Polar Satellite System – Ground System. Rebecca has received numerous awards at NASA, including the Exceptional Achievement Award.
During her time in the NASA international office, Rebecca was the Space Science team lead as well as the lead for the Middle East, the Planetary Science Division, and the Exploration Science Strategy and Integration Office. She supported partnership development with countries around the globe on lunar and planetary activities.
Before NASA, Rebecca led the global partnerships for a DC-based youth development non-profit organization and served in the Peace Corps in Morocco. She has a Masters in Global Entrepreneurship and Management and a BS in Business Administration.
