Mr. ONISHI Takuya

ONISHI Takuya was born in Tokyo in 1975, and spent roughly 113 days in space as a Flight Engineer aboard the International Space Station (ISS) as part of Expeditions 48 and 49 in 2016. During his stay, he supported the capture of the Cygnus OA-5 spacecraft and Extravehicular activities by controlling robotics, performed maintenance on the ISS, and conducted both Japanese and international scientific experiments utilizing the space environment.
