Mrs. NORIZAN ABDUL PATAH, has been appointed as a Research Officer at Malaysian Space Agency (MYSA) under Ministry Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI) formerly known as Malaysian Remote Sensing Center (MACRES). Currently serves as the Director of Data Reception and Distribution Division at the Malaysian Space Agency (MYSA). Her key responsibilities include data processing, standardization, distribution, and policy implementation to maintain national remote sensing data quality standards and ensure the continuous satellite data supply through MYSA’s Satellite Operations Complex (SOC). Prior to this, she been appointed as Director of the Geospatial Data Development and Analysis Division at the former Malaysian Remote Sensing Agency (MRSA) managed research and development collaborations and provided advisory services in remote sensing and GIS applications especially to Malaysian Government Agencies.
