Dr. Naser Al Hammadi

Dr. Naser Al Hammadi is a seasoned professional with extensive expertise in diplomacy and international relations, particularly in the fields of telecommunications and space. He earned his PhD in Diplomacy and International Relations from the Geneva School of Diplomacy in 2024, building on a Diploma in Leadership and International Diplomacy obtained from the same institution in 2015.

Dr. Naser has gained the trust of the UAE leadership and international recognition for his achievements. Notably, he became the first Emirati and Gulf national, and the second Arab, to be elected by over 160 countries to serve on a high-level council of 12 international experts at the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), one of the oldest United Nations organizations. Over his 24-year tenure in the federal government, he has represented the UAE at more than 250 international conferences, often leading delegations or serving as vice president in key global forums. His efforts have consistently advanced UAE’s interests and enhanced its stature on the world stage.

A key highlight of his career was his pivotal role at the 2014 ITU Plenipotentiary Conference in Busan, South Korea, where he led negotiations proposing the inclusion of youth in national delegations, enabling an 11-year-old Emirati inventor to address over 3,000 attendees, further enhancing the UAE’s diplomatic reputation.
