Mr. Jaewon Cho is an Acting Director in the International Affairs Division at the Korea AeroSpace Administration (KASA). He earned an M.A. in International Relations from Seoul National University and has extensive experience managing international projects in close collaboration with organizations such as UNESCO and the World Bank. Prior to joining KASA, Jaewon worked at the Korea Air Force Academy and the Korea Education and Research Information Service (KERIS), where he contributed to various global initiatives.
At KASA, Jaewon is responsible for overseeing and strengthening bilateral partnerships across the Americas and Asia-Pacific regions. He works closely with key space agencies, including NASA, JAXA, and ASA, advancing collaborative efforts in space exploration and technology. Additionally, he plays a central role in developing and executing KASA’s international cooperation strategies, aligning the agency’s objectives with global space exploration goals and fostering strategic partnerships in the space sector.
