Dr. Joon Lee is the Executive Director of Korea Aerospace Research Institute.

He got Ph. D. in Law from Chonnam National University in Korea and worked as a research professor until he joined KARI in 2004 as a senior researcher. He has worked as the head of strategic planning team, the head of international relations team, the head of space policy team and the dirctor of policy & cooperation division.

Currently, he is working as the Executive Director of Strategy & Planning Directorate in charge of Strategy, Policy, Planning & Budget in KARI.
