Dr. Landeros obtained the degree of Mechanical-Electrical Engineer at the Faculty of Engineering from UNAM (National Autonomous University of Mexico), the Master of Science from the University of Pennsylvania, United States, and the PhD in Telecommunications, also from UNAM. He has held important management positions in the public and private telecommunications and space sectors, participating in more than 20 projects of importance for the country, some of them in the international environment. He is a member of the Mexican Academy of Engineering and the Panamerican Academy of Engineering. He has received important national and international awards. Since November 2019 he has been the General Director of the Mexican Space Agency.
