Engineer Nasser Bin Hammad is the head of Space Strategic Partnership and International Relations at UAE Space Agency. He was Former Director of International Affairs at Télécommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) of UAE with a demonstrated history of working in the telecommunications and ICT industry for more than 19 years. Skilled in Wireless Technologies, Radio Regulations, Management, Strategic Planning, Telecommunications, Space and Strategy. Strong diplomat professional with an Executive Master of business administration focused in Business administration from Zayed University (UAE). He is a Telecom Engineer with first class honors from Khalifa University of UAE (former known as Etisalat College of Engineering) and currently is pursuing a doctoral candidate on International Relations from Geneva School of Diplomacy and international relations. He was elected to be the first Emirati and GCC member of the Radio Regulation Board (RRB) of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) in Geneva from (2014-2018).

Bin Hammad is an experienced International Telecommunications Policy and Regulatory Affairs professional and Telecommunications Engineer, and has been actively participating in the activities of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) for the past 19 years.

He has been the Head of Delegation and Deputy Head of UAE delegation and official spokesperson of the UAE Administration at many Regional and International conferences, meetings, forums expressing and defending UAE positions and interests in Telecom and Space sector , and was selected to be the chairperson of the council committee responsible for the 150th anniversary celebration of the ITU.

Bin Hammad received several national and international honors and appreciation certificates from many international organizations including Arab Leagues, GCC Leaque and International Telecommunication Union. In 2016 & 2018 he received the ITU Award from the Secretary General for winning the World Summit on Information Society (WSIS) for the category “ International Partnership Impacts and significant role”
