G. Ravi Chandra Babu is currently holding the responsibility of Associate Project Director in U.R Rao Satellite Centre (URSC) of Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), INDIA. He Joined ISRO in 1999 and has ~20 years experience in projects realization. During this tenure he shouldered many key responsibilities such as System Engineer (1999-2004), Project Manager (2004-2010), Deputy Project Director(2010-2016 and Associate Project Director(2016-till date). He has wide exposure to building of Remote Sensing Satellites for application areas like Cartography, Oceanography, Land & Water Resource Management and Disaster Management. He is also heading the Systems Division of remote sensing program of URSC (2017-till date). He is recognized by ISRO with team excellence award for three times. He has many publications in National and International Journals.
