#123 Turkey's first earth observation satellite RASAT started transmitting images from space

Images from different parts of the world recorded by the first Turkish made remote sensing satellite RASAT, designed, developed, tested and operated by TUB?TAK UZAY, the space technologies research institute of Turkish Government, have been downloaded to TUB?TAK UZAY's main ground station in the Middle East Technical University campus in Ankara, Turkey.

#121 Lunar eclipse observation by Anushandhitshu Chokro, June 15, 2011(Dhaka, Bangladesh)

On June 15, a lunar eclipse occurred at the moon's ascendingnode in southern Ophiuchus about 7 degree west of the LagoonNebula (M8). The totality lasted about 100 minutes.Anushandhitshu Chokro organized 12 camps nationwideincluding Sylhet, Patharghata, Bandorban, and Barisal. The main camp was at the Bhashani Planetarium in Dhaka.
