1) APRSAF-25: November 6-9, 2018
We are delighted to announce the dates and venue for the 25th Asia-Pacific Regional Space Agency Forum (APRSAF-25).
Dates: November 6-9, 2018
Venue: Sheraton Towers Singapore (TBD)

The meeting will be organized jointly by the Singapore Space and Technology Association (SSTA), the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of Japan (MEXT), and the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA).

[2] News on APRSAF Community

1) ISEF2 Successfully Convened in Tokyo
The 2nd International Space Exploration Forum (ISEF2) was successfully organized in Tokyo on March 3, 2018. Representatives from more than 40 nations and intergovernmental organizations discussed the significance of advancing international collaboration and coordination efforts in space exploration, and welcomed the continuation of the International Space Exploration Forum as a Ministerial-level forum. The participants concluded the discussions with three output documents, namely, the Joint Statement, International Space Exploration Forum Terms of Reference, and Tokyo Principles for International Space Exploration, to create a basis for governments to engage in dialogue to promote international cooperation and long-term space exploration.

2) ISAST VI / 2018: Call for Papers (Due Date: June 26)
The International Seminar on Aerospace and Science Technology (ISAST) committee is issuing a call for papers for its 6th seminar, ISAST VI / 2018, which will take place in Jakarta, Indonesia during September 25-26, 2018. The international seminar is the continuation of the ISAST series, which has been held by the Indonesian Aeronautics & Space Agency (LAPAN) since 2013. The target participants are Indonesian and international students as well as researchers and engineers from various disciplines in aeronautics and space technology, from research institutions, universities, the armed forces, and industries. The theme for ISAST VI / 2018 is Aeronautics and Space Technology Research and Industrial Development. The submission deadline is June 26, 2018.

3) First Entirely Thai-built CubeSat to be Launched in August
On February 16, 2018, the King Mongkut's University of Technology North Bangkok (KMUTNB) announced its 1U-sized CubeSat, "KNACKSAT," which is scheduled to be sent into space in mid-August 2018. "KNACKSAT" is the first Thai satellite designed and built by a team of researchers and students indigenously. The satellite will be launched as part of the rideshare mission called Sun Synch Express (SSO-A), aboard a SpaceX Falcon-9 launch vehicle. This mission is an initiative of Spaceflight Industries Inc. of the US.
