The 5th International Conference on Research, Innovation and Vision for the Future (RIVF'07) was held at Hanoi University of Technology, Vietnam from March 5 - 9, 2007.
This conference provided an interactive, professional, and friendly forum for sharing results of research, and progress had made towards future innovative applications of information and communication sciences & technologies.

Dr. Vu Dung, the General Chairman of RIVF'07 said, "More than 280 participants gathered from 19 countries, among which 11 are from the region of Asia Pacific. Several areas of research have been initiated to provide the infrastructure (logical and not only physical) to this new trend. We can cite Quantum cryptography for the security concerns, Web Semantics and Cooperative Information Systems for group work, etc."
